Maria La Del Barrio (Maria of the Neighborhood) is a Philippine remake of the Mexican drama Maria la del Barrio to air on ABS-CBN. It will be starring Erich Gonzales and Enchong Dee and is slated to air as part of the network's "Kapamilya Gold" offering.
Synopsis
Maria Hernandez (Erich Gonzales) is a naive girl who dreams of a Prince Charming in her life. When she meets Luis Fernando Dela Vega (Enchong Dee), she thought she already met her Prince Charming. But when she sees him with another girl, Soraya Montenegro (Paw Diaz), she gets hurt and seeks revenge as she transforms into a rich, gorgeous woman and becomes the girlfriend of Luis Fernando's younger brother, Vladimir Dela Vega (Inno Martin). Will Luis love her again for who she was or who she changed into?
